Chakradhar STREAM is a fully functional, production-ready OTT (Over-The-Top) streaming platform developed using Next.js, Firebase, and modern web technologies. It is designed not just as a movie website, but as a complete digital film ecosystem that supports streaming, live events, user interaction, and admin-level control. The platform allows users to explore a curated library of movies with a cinematic interface, including features like trending sections, featured content, and dynamic hero banners managed entirely through the admin panel. Users can create accounts using Firebase Authentication, manage their profiles, maintain wishlists, and track their activity within the platform. One of the core innovations of the system is the Live Premiere feature. Admins can create premiere events with specific start times, configure whether the event is free or paid, and generate ticket-based access. Users can join premieres by validating tickets, and for paid events, Razorpay integration ensures secure payment processing. Once a payment is successful, a unique ticket is automatically generated and stored in the user’s profile, preventing duplication and ensuring controlled access. The platform also includes a real-time interaction layer within premiere rooms, where users can watch content via embedded video streams and participate in live chat (expandable for future scalability). The ticket validation system ensures that each ticket is used only once, maintaining strict event integrity. An advanced admin panel provides complete control over the system. Admins can manage movies, toggle featured/trending/hero content, create and monitor premieres, generate tickets, and view user engagement. Additionally, a built-in contact management system allows users to submit queries, which are stored in Firestore and can be viewed in an admin inbox. Admins can directly respond to users via an integrated email system powered by Resend, enabling real-time communication without leaving the platform. The platform follows strong security practices using Firestore rules for role-based access control, ensuring that users can only access their own data while admins retain full system authority. The UI is designed with a dark cinematic theme, optimized for both mobile and desktop, delivering a premium OTT-like experience.
